books > Home to Witchend

Malcolm Saville's last story, 'Home to Witchend', was particularly difficult to find in hardback.  It was published in 1980 by Severn House and supplied mainly to libraries.  These editions can be difficult to buy second-hand.  Because of these difficulties, Richard Griffiths decided to publish a new hardback edition of this story.

Not content with producing just any hardback edition, Richard set himself the challenge of creating it in a size and style to match the George Newnes books of the earlier Lone Pine stories.  As a result this new book has the same typeface and layout, similar paper, boards and binding as the 1950s Newnes publications.  A newly-commissioned, wrap-around painting for the dust jacket completes this fine volume.

The book is 190mm x 130mm (7.5" x 5.2") and has 202 pages.  The book costs £18 including UK post and packing.
